Very caring staff consisting of the extended family members doing their very best to make the guests' stay as comfortable as possible.
clean, parking space without charging anything,
Breakfast was good. Hotel lobby looks presentable. The staff was friendly most of the time.
The weather was very hot and the aircon took a long time to cool the room. Furthermore, electricity supply was cut every time we left the room, so we could not leave the aircon running. The shower cubicle was small, and there was a problem with the water pressure was well (the water was either too hot, or the pressure was too low). That was fixed, however, when we informed the staff about it. When I paid for the internet, the username and password given worked for 5minutes, but were invalid after that. The reception staff refused to give me a replacement password, insisting that the login details normally work, and instead gave me a refund and requested me to use the computer at the lobby. The walking directions from the train station given by the hotel included a path through a dark area with people lurking around, which may not be safe at night.
Nice staff and the location close to the station for Venice.
Close to the station of Padova with connection to Rome and Venice.Friendly staff offering a beer on arrival. Good breakfast
Hotel Cason is very close to the station so makes Venice trips very easy. It is also at the beginning of the tram line for easy access to central Padova (also close walking distance). Many bars and restaurants within 5-10 mins walk. Parking is free. Rooms are comfortable. Our a.c didn't seem to work well the first night, but the staff quickly sorted this out for us.
Hotel is rather dated, so although comfortable, some parts could do with an update. The area between the station and the hotel felt a bit 'dodgy' however, we had no trouble walking back at night. The railway is very close - we didn't have any noise problem, as in this season the a.c is on and windows are closed - I imagine it is noisy in seasons when you need your window open.
The room and bath room big and very comfort, breakfast is good. Staffs speak english very well & very helpful for all information about Padova and Dolomiti area. We were very enjoy our stayed there.
A little bit far from city centre about 15-20 walk.
The rates were reasonable, and location convenient for the train station. The breakfast was spectacular.
The rooms need to be modernized. In particular the furniture was somewhat outdated. This may also help make the rooms feel a little cozsier.
This Hotel was ideally located within a 10 minute walk from the Padua Railway Station from where we were able to take trips to Venice (about 40 mins) and Verona (approx. 60 mins). The breakfasts were good and also they had a basic dinner menu which was cheap but adequate.
The neighbourhood in which the Hotel was situated.
It has a very convenient location, near the Ferrovia (train station) and close to the Padova's historical city centre. To reach Prato della Vale from the hotel, anyone can take a pleasant walk for 25-30 minutes.
The hotel was close to the train station (5 min walk) and close to the old town (10min walk). I used it as a base for Venice so the hotel was brilliant value for money when you compare to anything in Venice. Padova itself is very historic as well with good shopping and cafes. Staff were very helpful, rooms modern, functonal. Sitting with train line behind but no problem with respect to sound so slept well. Underground secure parking and morning breakfast was very good. Overall, excellent value for money.
The staff at Al Cason were a credit, they couldn't have done more to help and made us feel so welcome. The room was modern, comfortable, clean. Breakfast had everything you could want. I was a little concerned when I arrived because of the location, but I realised that I need not have worried and of my trip through Italy found this to be the best hotel by far and was sorry to leave. Thank you to all the staff at Al Cason for making our stay so memorable.
The location near the train station is perfect for people who wish to visit Venice...
Quite noisy. No A/C in our triple room (we did not suffer from it as it was not warm in April, but must be hard to bear in summertime)
I fill like home. good service and diliciours breakfast.
The heater was so laut. in the night also so laut.(outside)
